David Allison (* 1873 in Menton , France ; † unknown) was a French- English football player .

Career

David Allison was born in Menton in the French department of Alpes-Maritimes , not far from the Italian border in 1873 . In 1899 he was one of the founders of AC Milan , which was launched on December 16, 1899 as the Milan Foot-Ball and Cricket Club . Since Allison was the oldest player in the team after the English player- coach Herbert Kilpin , he became the first team captain of Milan .

On March 11, 1900, he scored the 1-0 goal in a 2-0 win in the game for Medaglia del Re against SEF Mediolanum . Since this was the first competitive game ever for the club, Allison became the first goalscorer in the history of AC Milan.

In 1901 , David Allison won the first Italian football championship in the club's history with AC Milan in the second year of its existence . Nothing is known about his further life.
