David Blangsted
David Blangsted (born February 16, 1936 in Los Angeles , California - † January 13, 2015 ibid.) Was an American film editor .
Life
Blangsted appeared as an assistant editor from the 1960s. From 1973 he worked as an independent editor. Up to and including 1997 he was involved in more than 30 productions, with his focus on television.
In 1991 he and Robert F. Shugrue received the Eddie Award from the American Cinema Editors for work on Stephen King's Es . He was nominated for an Emmy twice in his career .
