David Chelule
David Chelule (born July 7, 1977 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner .
In 1995 he won the bronze medal in the junior competition at the World Cross Country Championships. In 1996 he became junior world champion in cross-country running and vice junior world champion in 5000 and 10,000 meter races .
In 1999 he won the silver medal in the 10,000 m at the Pan-African Games in Johannesburg , and the following year he was fifth in the 5,000 m at the Olympic Games in Sydney .
In 2010 he won the Brescia Marathon on his debut on the 42.195km course .
