David Douglas, 7th Earl of Angus
David Douglas, 7th Earl of Angus (* around 1515 - † June 1557 in Cockburnspath ) was a Scottish nobleman.
Douglas was the eldest son of George Douglas of Pittendriech and his wife Elizabeth Douglas. In 1556 he succeeded his uncle Archibald as Earl of Angus . His younger brother was the Scottish regent James Douglas, 4th Earl of Morton . David was considered passive and ailing throughout his life. He was married to Margaret, daughter of Sir John Hamilton of Clydesdale, and had the following children with her:
- Margaret († 1640), was married to Walter Scott of Buccleuch; then with Francis Stewart, 1st Earl of Bothwell
- Archibald Douglas, 8th Earl of Angus
- Elizabeth († 1637), was married to John Maxwell, 7th Lord Maxwell; then with Alexander Stewart of Garlies
