David E. Peckinpah
David Ernest Peckinpah (born September 5, 1951 in Fresno , California , † April 23, 2006 in Vancouver ) was an American writer, producer and director .
David E. Peckinpah, a nephew of director Sam Peckinpah , was best known for his work in television films and series. He wrote the scripts for Beauty and the Beast , Wolf , ... and when the last tire bursts and Farscape . He not only wrote the script for the series Palm Beach Duo , Sliders and Turks , but was also their producer.
On April 23, 2006, he died of a heart attack.
