David Edgerton

David Edgerton (born May 26, 1927 in Lebanon , Pennsylvania , † April 3, 2018 ) was an American entrepreneur and founder of the Burger King Corporation .

He opened Insta Burger King restaurant on March 1, 1954 in Miami , Florida . On June 1 of that year, he met James McLamore and the two formed the Burger King Corporation.
