Player career

David de Coz started his career as a footballer in his hometown at Betis Sevilla , where he played for four years from 1999 to 2003 - but only in the B team. In the two years from 2003 to 2005, the defender played for the Segunda División B Club AD Ceuta . There he drew attention to himself with strong performances, so that he moved to the second division club Deportivo Xerez in the summer of 2005 . After two missed promotions, he left the now relegation-threatened club during the 2007/08 season and went to the first division promoted Real Murcia . There, too, he was able to earn a regular position.
