David Johns (born June 11, 1982 ) is a Canadian biathlete .

David Johns starts for Biathlonschool.com and is trained by Richard Boruta. He had his only missions in Europe in 2006 as part of the Biathlon European Cup . His first race was a sprint in Altenberg , which he finished in 42nd, in the following pursuit race he achieved his best result in this racing series as 35th. Johns achieved better results in races in North America. So he achieved in races in the context of the Biathlon NorAm Cup of the 2007/08 season . At the start of the season he achieved an outstanding result in second in a pursuit behind Brendan Green . In the overall standings, Johns reached eleventh place, in 2008/09 he was 14th. The North American Roller Ski Biathlon Championships 2008 in Canmore brought the Canadian several good placements. The best result was fourth place in the individual, so he narrowly missed a medal. 14th places were added in sprint and pursuit.
