David Koch (born September 27, 1991 in Alsfeld ) is a German model and influencer .

Life

Koch grew up in Marburg, Hesse , and suffered from severe stuttering during his childhood . After finishing school, he initially worked as a postman. In 2011 a model agent discovered him by chance on the Zeil in Frankfurt - a week after this encounter he was already running as a fashion model at Paris Fashion Week . His liaison with the French professional boxer Nina Cherry attracted attention. In autumn 2019, it became known that Koch suffers from a chronic sun allergy.

Career

He worked as u. a. for Armani , Calvin Klein , Dior , Givenchy Hugo Boss , Thierry Mugler and Jil Sander . With over 500,000 followers on Instagram, Koch is currently one of the 50 best-known male models active on social media .

Between 2011 and 2013, Koch ran numerous shows in London, New York, Milan and Paris for several luxury fashion labels. Since 2015 his work has focused more on campaign and cover shoots. Since the beginning of 2020, David Koch has also joined the judo Bundesliga club Remscheider TV JUDOTEAM as a premium partner with his label "David Koch Styles".
