David López García
David López García (born May 13, 1981 in Barakaldo ) is a Spanish cyclist .
David López began his professional career in 2003 with the Spanish cycling team Cafés Baqué . After two years he switched to the Basque ProTeam Euskaltel-Euskadi . In the 2006 season he was fourth on a stage of the Tour of Valencia and was seventh in the overall standings. At the Critérium International , he won the mountain classification .
In 2007 he moved to Team Caisse d'Epargne (later name: Movistar) and achieved the first international elite victories at the Deutschland Tour and the Vuelta a España in 2010 .
