David Mings

David Mings (born September 13, 1951 in Belleville , Illinois , † February 11, 2014 in Amsterdam ) was an American bassoonist and dulcian player .

He came from Texas and studied bassoon at the local university. At the Royal Conservatory in The Hague , he specialized in the baroque bassoon . In addition to his lively concert activities and a. In Jos van Immersel's Anima Eterna and Concerto Köln he played together with Han Tol (recorder) and Patrick Ayrton (harpsichord and organ) in the La Dada ensemble .
