David Poffenroth (* 1990 in Calgary ) is a Canadian biathlete .

David Poffenroth lives in Airdrie and studies at Royal Roads University . The Rocky Mountain Racers athlete won the cross-country sprint title at the North American Championships in the 2010 summer biathlon in Canmore . His first international men's championship was the 2013 North American Biathlon Championships at Whistler Olympic Park in Whistler . In the sprint he was 17th, in the pursuit race 18th and in the mass start race 12th. In the overall ranking of the Biathlon NorAm Cup 2012/13 , Poffenroth was 19th.
