David Rodrigo Lo (born May 8, 1968 ) is a Spanish football coach . From 1999 to 2010 he worked as the national coach of Andorra .

The trained sports teacher began his coaching career as a junior coach at Unió Esportiva Lleida . He then went to CD Binéfar in the third Spanish division . After the club achieved promotion and a regional cup win, in 1999 he received an offer from the Andorran Association to become national coach.

After Rodrigo took over the team, he established a new organizational structure and created a U21 selection. Initially, however, the team had to continue to wait for the first victory in a qualifying game under his leadership. It was not until qualifying for the 2006 World Cup that Marc Bernaus scored their first victory with a 1-0 win against Macedonia , followed by a draw in Macedonia. In addition, there was also a draw against Finland in Aixovall .

In July 2006, a scandal broke out when Rodrigo, during a qualifying match for EURO 08 against Israel (1: 4 defeat Andorra) against the star player of the opposing team, Yossi Benayoun , who allegedly made fun of the Andorrans' 0: 2 deficit , allegedly referred to Israel as the "land of murderers" and threatened him: " We'll break your legs " ( You are a country of murderers. We'll break your legs ). Benayoun then received a yellow card from Bosnian referee Siniša Zrnić for seeing him arguing with Rodrigo. Rodrigo denied the statements. The Israeli team's spokesman announced a complaint to UEFA. Andorran midfielder Juli Fernández apologized to Benayoun.

In February 2010 Rodrigo was replaced as head coach of the Andorran national team by Koldo Álvarez .
