David Spencer

David Spencer (born February 18, 1958 in Halifax , West Yorkshire ) is a German-British playwright, radio play author and writing tutor.

Life

David Spencer first completed a degree in biology (B.Sc.) from the University of Nottingham . From 1983 to 1986 he attended the City Lit Institute in London and studied with Carol Burns, Philip Sydney Jenning and Laurie Smith.

In 1989 he moved to Berlin (West). He works as a recurring guest lecturer at the Universität der Künste Berlin for dramatic writing / text work , at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, at the Burgtheater in Vienna and at the Schauspielhaus (Vienna) . At the University of the Arts David Spencer a. a. the playwrights Dirk Laucke , Bernhard Studlar and Andreas Sauter .

He currently lives in Berlin and Huddersfield .
