With the play alter ford escort dark blue , Laucke was invited to the dramatists' workshop at the Stückemarkt in 2006 as part of the Berlin Theatertreffen and one year later was nominated for the Mülheim Dramatists Prize 2007 on the occasion of the 32nd Mülheimer Theatertage. As a production by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk , a radio play based on this piece was created in 2008 under the direction of Matthias Matschke and with the speakers Jörg Schüttauf and Judith Engel . In the 2006/2007 season Laucke received a scholarship from the authors' laboratory at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . During this scholarship he wrote the play We're Always Up.
