David Stampfli

David Stampfli (born July 14, 1982 in Bern ; legal resident in Günsberg ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Stampfli grew up in Bern . After graduating from the Gymnasium Neufeld , he studied history and philosophy at the University of Bern . Since 2014 he has been working as the executive party secretary for the SP Canton of Bern . Stampfli lives with his partner in Bern.

City Council of Bern (2012-2017)

In the city council, Stampfli, as President of Pro Velo Bern (2013–2017), campaigned in particular for the concerns of cyclists. As President of Pro Bremgartenwald, he also successfully fought against the development of the Waldstadt Bremer development. He was also committed to popular sport or to a commemorative event to commemorate the end of the Second World War.

Grand Council of the Canton of Bern (since 2017)

Stampfli has been a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern since March 1, 2017 . In the Grand Council, Stampfli has so far campaigned for public and slow traffic, for environmental issues and for animal welfare. He is a substitute member of the Building, Energy, Transport and Spatial Planning Commission (BaK).

In addition to his seat on the board of directors, Stampfli is active on the board of the VCS Kanton Bern, on the board of vpod ngo, as co-president of the Sinnovativ foundation and as president of the Pro Bremgartenwald association.
