David Taylor (athlete)
David Taylor ( David William "Dave" Taylor ; born January 9, 1964 ) is a retired British marathon runner .
In 1995 he came 51st at the World Half Marathon Championships in Belfort and won bronze with the British team at the European Cross Country Championships in Alnwick with a 42nd place in the individual standings .
In 1997 he finished 53rd at the Half Marathon World Championships in Košice and was sixth at the Frankfurt Marathon .
At the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur in 1998 , he finished fourth for England . In 1999 he ran at the Half Marathon World Championships in Palermo in 62nd place.
David Taylor started for the Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC.
