David Vogt (music producer)

David Vogt , sometimes also David Voigt , is a German music producer and songwriter . He is a member of the Berlin production team Beatgees , which writes songs for many artists.

Life

Vogt comes from Müllheim , where he attended a Waldorf school. He started writing songs at the age of 14. After graduating from high school, he began professional songwriting for , among others, Culcha Candela ( Brave New World ), Tim Bendzko ( If words were my language ), Daniel Schuhmacher , Alice Merton and Johannes Oerding ( circles ). At Oerding he also programmed the drums. He also worked musically for Rhys Chatham .

In 2019 he and the other Beatgees members received the German Music Author's Prize for the “most successful work of 2018”, Je ne parle pas français by Namika .
