David Wingrove

David Wingrove (born September 1, 1954 in North Battersea , London , England ) is a British science fiction and fantasy author.

Wingrove is particularly known for his Chung Kuo novels. He was also co-author (with Rand Miller and Robyn Miller ) of the three Myst novels, which were based on the well-known adventure game . Together with Brian Aldiss , he published a book entitled quintillion years spree: The history of science (dt. Title The billion-year dream: the history of science fiction ), in 1987 the Hugo and Locus Award respectively in the Best non-fiction category won.

He is married with four children and lives in north London.
