David Witts (* the 30th June 1991 in Southend-on-Sea , Essex as David Peter S. Witt ) is a British actor and model .
life and career
David Witt was in June 1991 in Southend-on-Sea in the county Essex born. He went to the Southend High School for Boys, where he discovered his passion for acting. He was then trained for several years at the National Youth Music Theater and at the National Youth Theater of Great Britain. He then began to work as a bartender before taking off as a theater actor. Between 2011 and 2012 Witts was involved in the productions Wild Boyz , The Wizard of Oz and Snow White , among others . On the side he started modeling.
In May 2012, Witt starred in the long-lived able BBC - daily soap EastEnders secure. He was in the soap from June 22, 2012 to December 26, 2013 as Joey Branning . This role earned him an award at the National Television Awards in 2013 in the Most Popular Newcomer category . After leaving EastEnders , he returned to the theater stage. In early 2014 Witts played the role of Link Larkin in the musical Hairspray .
Witts has played the lead role of Craig in the freeform addictive drama Recovery Road since 2015 .
