David Womark

David Womark is an Oscar nominated director , screenwriter, film producer , executive producer, and film production manager .

Life

Womark's field of activity was initially as the director of the 2nd unit . In 1996 he tried his hand at directing and screenwriting for two episodes of a television series and the thriller Exit in Red . Then continued as executive producer and producer for blockbusters like Jurassic Park III and Der Sternwanderer . For Ang Lee's film Life of Pi: Shipwreck with Tiger , Womark was finally nominated for the 2013 Academy Award and BAFTA Award .

Womark is a grandson of the German film producer and Holocaust survivor Emile J. Lustig .
