Davide Enia (born April 2, 1974 in Palermo ) is an Italian writer.

Life

Davide Enia studied literature after graduating from high school and worked for the theater and wrote several plays. He performed his one-person play Italia-Brasile 3 a 2 about the game at the 1982 World Cup in the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on May 21, 2002 . In 2003 he won the Premio Tondelli, the Premio Riccione and the Premio Ubu speciale for the play Scanna , which was staged under his direction at the Biennale di Venezia di teatro in 2004. In 2006 he was promoted as a young artist with the Premio Vittorio Mezzogiorno and the Premio Gassman.

In 2012 the novel Così appeared in Terra , which was translated into several languages ​​and received the Prix ​​du premier roman in the French translation in 2016 .
