Prix ​​du premier roman

The Prix ​​du premier roman is a French literary award .

The prize was founded in 1977 and is awarded annually. It pays tribute to French-speaking, as yet unpublished first novels by young authors between the ages of 18 and 30. Currently (2014) the prize is endowed with 3000 euros. The award was later expanded to include foreign novels in a separate category called Prix ​​du premier roman étranger .
