The Davison Peak is a 1,340 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Denton Hills, it rises 2.9 km east of Hobbs Peak .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it on November 4, 1999 after the zoologist William Davison of the University of Canterbury , who studied the Antarctic fish stocks from 1983.
