The Davos Klosters Bergbahnen AG operates under the name of Davos Klosters Mountains several ski resorts in the Grisons places Davos and Klosters . The company also operates 19 hotels in Davos under the Mountain Hotels brand .

history

Originally, all winter sports areas in Davos and Klosters were run independently by different owners. Due to economic pressure, under which the Schatzalp ski area had to be temporarily closed, the companies Davos-Parsenn-Bahnen AG , Bergbahnen Brämabüel & Jakobshorn AG , and Klosters-Gotschnagrat-Parsenn aerial cableway were united as a stock company under the name Davos Klosters Bergbahnen AG in 2003 .

structure

Current holdings

It also holds the following investments:

Former holdings

  • The 39.08% stake in Klosters-Madrisa Bergbahnen AG was sold to a group of investors in 2014, with the ski area remaining in a tariff association with the other areas of Davos Klosters Bergbahnen.

The Schatzalp ski area is operated by Berghotel Schatzalp AG , which is why the Davos Klosters Mountains ski passes are not valid there.

Ski passes

Overview

Although the different ski areas belong together, the ski passes have to be purchased separately and also vary in price because not all ski areas have the same number of facilities. There are different types:

  • Morning ticket until 1 p.m. with refund
  • Half-day ticket (valid from 12.15 p.m.)
  • 1-day tickets
  • 2-day tickets
  • Day tickets for 2–21 days (valid for all five mountains)

Lift pass

The turnstiles of the access systems are equipped with a contactless RFID system from Skidata . An additional fee of 5 francs (no deposit) must be paid for the lift pass.

Projects

For the 2017/18 winter season, the Furka double ski lift was replaced by a detachable chair lift from Garaventa .

In the medium term, the aim is to connect the Jakobshorn and Rinerhorn ski areas . An aerial tramway that spans the Sertig Valley or a connection variant through the Sertig Valley with additional downhill options are under discussion, with valley stations in the Mühle or Gämpi area being possible.
