Dawid Jarka (born August 15, 1987 in Świerklaniec , Poland ) is a Polish football player . Jarka has had both Polish and German citizenship since 2003 .

Club career

The striker began his professional career in 2005 with Gwarek Zabrze before being loaned to AE Larisa for half a year during the winter break of the 2005/06 season . In the summer, the first division team Górnik Zabrze noticed him and signed Jarka. After a solid 14 goals in 47 games, Jarka came in a small form hole in 2008 and lost his regular place at Zabrze, whereupon the club loaned him to league rivals LKS Łódz for the first half of the 2008/09 season . After half a year Jarka returned to Górnik Zabrze properly and was able to play his way back into the team. His contract with Górnik ran until June 2011, but in January 2009 he moved again and was awarded to local rivals Ruch Radzionków in the third division . After the rise in the summer, Jarke was firmly committed. But Jarka did not last long there either and so he separated from the club in 2011 and went to league rivals GKS Katowice . For GKS Katowice he played a total of seven league games in the 2011/12 season in which, however, he could not score a goal. In the meantime he only played for the 2nd team. For the 2012/13 season he signed a contract with the second division club GKS Tychy . But even here he was not happy and only made ten league appearances and scored no goal. In February 2013 the contract was terminated with mutual consent. Dawid Jarka continues his amateur career. Since the end of August 2015 he has been playing for the Polish fifth division club Gwarek Tarnowskie Góry . In 2017 he was promoted to fourth-class Liga III with his club .

Career in the national team

Michał Globisz nominated him in 2007 for the Polish U-20 national team for the Junior Soccer World Cup in Canada, where he and his team made it to the round of 16.
