Dawid Jefremov ( Russian Дэвид Ефремов , English transcription David Yefremov; born January 15, 1999 ) is a Kazakh hurdler who specializes in the 110-meter distance .

Athletic career

Dawid Jefremow gained his first experience at international championships at the 2018 Junior Asian Championships in Gifu , where he won the bronze medal in 13.81 seconds. He qualified for the U20 World Championships in Tampere , where he was eliminated with 14.01 s in the run-up. In August he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was eliminated there with 14.63 s in the first round. The following year he finished sixth at the Asian Championships in Doha in 13.83 s. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples for the first time, where he retired in the first round with 13.71 s and finished eighth in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 07.66 min.

In 2018 and 2019, Jefremov was Kazakh champion in the 110-meter hurdles and in 2019 in the 4-by-400-meter relay and in the mixed relay. In the hall he became champion over 60 m hurdles in 2020 and in the 4 x 200 meter relay in 2018.
