Dax Holdren (born April 9, 1972 in Santa Barbara (California) , USA ) is a retired American beach volleyball player .

Career

Dax Holdren played on the US AVP Tour from 1995 to 2009 and internationally on the FIVB World Tour from 1997 to 2006 . With Todd Rogers he finished ninth at the 1997 Beach Volleyball World Cup in Los Angeles and fifth at the 2001 Beach Volleyball World Cup in Klagenfurt . In addition, Holdren / Rogers won the tournament in Rosarito (Mexico) in 2000 . The greatest success with Eric Fonoimoana was a fifth place in 2003 in Berlin and five titles on the AVP Tour 2002/2003.

Dax Holdren had his greatest successes with Stein Metzger : in 2003 they were runner-up in Rio de Janeiro and in 2004 they achieved a good fifth place at the Olympic Games in Athens .

After two FIVB tournaments with Sean Scott , Dax Holdren ended his international career, but played on the AVP tour until 2009.
