The farmhouse De Emhoff (also: "Emhoff", "Emhof") is a timber -framed roof-beam two-column house that is located in Wilsede in the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve . It is one of the oldest surviving farmhouses on the Lüneburg Heath and represents the typical construction of the Südheide .

history

Detailed view of the entrance gate

The main house "De Emhoff" was originally built in 1609 in Emmingen near Soltau (location: 53 ° 0 ′ 0.2 ″  N , 9 ° 59 ′ 47.3 ″  E ). In 1964 it was in the old style in the Heidedorf Wilsede tranzloziert . Today it is owned by the Naturschutzpark Verein . Even if the “Emhoff” has an older construction date, researchers assume that the “ Dat ole Huus ” , which has also been moved to Wilsede, has a much older Flett area (built around 1540).
