De Gasparis is an impact crater on the western edge of the front of the moon , west of Mare Humorum , southeast of Cavendish crater and southwest of Liebig .

The heavily eroded crater by the lunar groove system of the Rimae de Gasparis , which furrows the crater rim as well as the interior, is striking.
