De Lirium's Order is a Finnish technical death metal band from Kuopio that was founded in 1998 under the name Adraman .

history

Guitarist Juha "SM NekroC" Kupiainen and some of his friends founded the band Adraman in 1998, which played melodic black metal . In 1999 the band released the demo Sidottuna Ikuisuuteen . After that, Kupiainen developed other songs, which were never published. In 2000 the band changed their name to Absolute Delirium . This was followed by an appearance together with Thyrane and Trollheim's Grott . After a few line-up changes, he joined Kupiainen and drummer ER Insane guitarist Dr. Lirium to the band. The new line-up studied new songs, which resulted in the demo Termination in Surreal . Kupiainen decided to display the band name De Lirium's Order on the demo released in 2002. Kupiainen also took over the vocals on the demo. The next demo, Morbid Brains, followed in 2003 . Through the demo, the band reached a contract with Woodcut Records . In the same year the group went to the Tico-Tico Studio in Kemi , where the debut album Victim No. 52 was recorded. The vocals were taken over by Corpse, who would later join Deathchain . The album was released in 2004 through Woodcut Records. After the release, Corpse left the cast. Tuomas "Tuoppi" Lintulaakso came instead as a new singer in the same year. However, the band only held two appearances with him in 2005 before he was stabbed to death in April. For a tour together with Grave and Sotajumala , Corpse took over the singing position again. Kupilainen worked on new songs until 2007, before the band signed a contract with Shadow World Records and went to Perkele Studio to record the next album. The group spent 20 days in the studio and recorded nine new songs, as well as a cover version of the Carcass song with Incarnated Solvent Abuse . Mynni from Sotajumala took over the singing. The album was released on August 8, 2005 under the name Diagnosis and reached number 30 on the Finnish charts. After the recordings, JS Psycho joined the line-up as the new permanent singer in 2007. Daurafhin performed in Helsinki , Lahti , Jyväskylä and Kuopio. In the following years more appearances followed and Kupiainen worked on new songs. In 2010 guitarist Mika Sundvall, drummer Perttu Kurttila, singer Jukka Pihlajaniemi and bassist Erkki Silvennoinen joined the band. In February 2011, Jukka Pihlajaniemi left the band and was replaced by Kari Olli. Ukri Suvilehto joined the band as the new drummer in the spring. In 2012, the album Veniversum was self-published.

style

The band plays technically very demanding death metal, with the fast guitar solos, blastbeats and extremely deep guttural vocals being particularly characteristic.
