De Weerth
De Weerth is a form of the family name Werth , which developed from the place and field name Werth .
A common origin of the name bearers cannot be clearly determined due to the frequent use of the field name in the German / Dutch language area. However, there is some evidence that the owners and farmhands and maids who had moved in from the Werth an der Wupper court in the Wuppertal district of Barmen , first mentioned in 1466 , gave themselves the name of origin de weerth or im Weerth and that at least the namesake in the region came from there.
