Dead Seal Island (from English dead seal 'dead seal' ) is a 300 m long and 200 m wide island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 800 m northeast of the Stepping Stones and 3.5 km east-southeast of the Palmer Station off the south coast of Anvers Island .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 2014.
