Dead Silence Hides My Cries is a metalcore band from Minsk , Belarus, founded in 2009 .
history
Dead Silence Hides My Cries was founded in 2009 by Matvei Fedorenchik (initially vocals , now electric bass ). With Ewgeny Gewrasew ( electric guitar ), Igor (electric bass), Sergey ( drums ) and Vlad Yukhnel (electric guitar), four other musicians joined Fedorenchik within a very short time, so that the group was able to play their first concert in March 2009 . After the group had developed enough songs to be able to produce an EP, the recordings started, which had to be interrupted due to the departure of one of their guitarists. In December 2009, Everyone Burns in This Hell was released, a first single, but of poor quality. The group was in contact with the labels Sumerian Records and StandBy Records , which were still unknown at the time, but a signature with these labels could not be obtained for unknown reasons.
In December 2010 the debut album The Wretched Symphony was released in a better quality. In the meantime, the group had to accept several line-up changes, so that only Matvei Fedorenchik remained as the only musician of the band's first line-up. In the meantime, Ilya Matusevich ( drums ), Maxim Chapliuk ( electric guitar ) and Nikita Zwonstsow ( keyboard ) are three new musicians in the band. In the summer of 2011 a 14 -track deluxe edition of The Wretched Symphony was released . In February 2013 the group signed with Artery Recordings . This label released the group's second album, The Symphony of Hope . The group is currently looking for two musicians in the USA.
style
The group plays classic post-hardcore with influences from metalcore , electronic and classical music. The group itself describes their style of music as Epic Core . The lyrics, which were all written in English , are more about personal topics. Fedorenchik dedicated Rest in Piece, My Friend to his grandmother, and My Inspiration to his ex-girlfriend, with the titles Who Are You, Mr. Brooks and The Pursuit of the Dream being named after the movies of the same name.
