Death Valley is an American mockumentary that focuses on supernatural figures. The series accompanies members of the LAPD elite unit Undead Task Force (UTF) in their daily fight against zombies, vampires and werewolves in the San Fernando Valley . The series was discontinued after the first season.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) founded a special unit called Undead Task Force (UTF) one year after the appearance of mysterious figures in California's San Fernando Valley , with the aim of fighting vampires , werewolves and zombies . The daring work of the UTF is documented by a camera team from Channel 5 , which accompanies the unit's operations.

In the US, the twelve-part first season was broadcast on MTV on August 29, 2011 . The German MTV offshoot began on January 29, 2012 with the first broadcast of the first season - in the original language with German subtitles. The broadcast on the free to air VIVA began on March 15, 2012.
