Debora Jantine Schoon-Kadijk (born April 14, 1969 in Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch beach volleyball player .

Career

Schoon-Kadijk completed her first international tournaments in 1995 with Lisette van de Ven . At the 1996 Olympic tournament, they were eliminated after two defeats against the Americans Castro / Richardson and the British Cooper / Glover . The following year Schoon-Kadijk formed a new duo with her sister Rebekka Kadijk , who came ninth at the World Championships in Los Angeles . At the European Championships in 1998 the sisters reached the final, which they lost against the Czech Celbová / Nováková . In 1999 they achieved top ten results at both the World Cup in Marseille (ninth) and the European Championship in Palma (fifth). In 2000 in Getxo they won bronze at the European Championships. A month later they had to admit defeat in the Olympic tournament with 15:17 against Celbová / Nováková and the Bulgarian sisters Petia and Tzvetelina Yanchulova . Then Schoon-Kadijk ended her international career.
