Debra Lynn Richardson (born February 17, 1961 in Minneapolis ) is an American beach volleyball player .

Career

Richardson first appeared in a World Tour tournament with Gayle Stammer in Miami in 1994 . She then finished sixth in Santos with Gail Castro . With Karolyn Kirby she reached the final in La Serena and a third place in Rio de Janeiro . You got more top ten results with Dennie Shupryt Knoop and Linda Hanley .

In 1996, Richardson formed a duo with Richardson again. After a fifth place in Hermosa Beach Castro / Richardson took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta . There they lost to the Australian duo Cook / Pottharst in the second round after beating the Dutch Schoon-Kadijk / van de Ven in the first round . In the losers round they were eliminated by the Japanese Fujita / Takahashi and finished the tournament in ninth place. At the subsequent Grand Slam in Carolina, they came in 17th place.

1997 Richardson took part with Linda Chisholm in the first official world championship in Los Angeles and reached the 17th place. Her last appearance on the World Tour was then in Salvador da Bahia with Desirée Leipham .
