Linda Hanley (* 8. June 1960 in Laguna Beach (California) as Linda Robertson ) is a former American beach volleyball player .

Career

Linda Hanley played in US tournaments from 1976 to 2003 and internationally on the FIVB World Tour from 1995 to 2000 . From 1996 she played with Barbra Fontana and reached several fourth places. At the Olympic tournament in Atlanta, Fontana / Hanley lost to the Australians Natalie Cook and Kerri Pottharst in the duel for bronze . In 1997 they remained in the top ten international tournaments and reached the finals four times on the national tour. However, they failed at the World Cup in Los Angeles in front of their own audience in the quarter-finals to the Brazilians Adriana Behar and Shelda Bede . In 1998 there were three fourth places for Fontana / Hanley in the Open series, a second place in Salvador da Bahia and a tournament victory in Espinho . Linda Hanley also had good placements with Nancy Reno in 1999/2000. At the World Championships in Marseille Hanley / Reno only came in 13th.
