Dee Dee Wallauer (actually Dietmar Christian Günther Wallauer ; born September 1, 1969 in Munich ) is a German director , film producer and cameraman .

Life

Wallauer began his career with a Super-8 - camera in the Alps . Due to the proximity of his hometown Munich to the mountains, snowboarding in winter and river surfing in summer on the Eisbach and Isar became a formative element in his life.

From 1995 to 1998 he spent the summer months in California , where he came into contact with the American independent film scene.

In 1999 he made his first Surf Skate Snow film "RideOn" and toured with two 16-mm - film prints under his arm through Germany and Austria. Since 2000 he has been working as a cameraman for documentaries, image films and advertising. In 2009 the second part of his series "RideOn" was released in German and Austrian cinemas. His documentary "Speed, Mud & Glory" about Speedway with the German Speedway World Champion Egon Müller and the Speedway Grand Prix driver Martin Smolinski ran from 2015 throughout Germany in selected cinemas and had 2015 on the Portland Motorcycle Film Festival its US premiere .
