Del Monroe

Del Monroe (born April 7, 1936 in Santa Barbara , California - † June 5, 2009 in Burbank , California) was an American actor .

Life

Monroe developed an interest in acting while in the army. After his release, he played in over 30 plays at the Pasadena Playhouse . In 1961 he received the offer to take on the role of the seaman Kowalski in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea , which he also interpreted in the subsequent television series. He also worked on other projects with their producer Irwin Allen . He also had numerous guest appearances in series such as Mannix or The Incredible Hulk .

Monroe played on stage until the end of his life; In 1996 he received the Drama-Logue Award for his lifelong stage performance.
