Delfina Merino

Delfina Merino (born October 15, 1989 in Vicente López, Buenos Aires Province ) is an Argentine hockey player. She has been playing for the Banco Provincia club from Vicente López since she was five, and since 2009 for the national team of her country . The right-hander plays by storm and wears the number 12 on her back. In addition to her sports career, she studies law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires .

With the Argentine national team, she won the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the gold medal at the 2010 World Cup. When she won the Copa Panamericana in September 2013, she scored the decisive goal for the 1-0 final victory over the USA .
