The 20th Women's Champions Trophy in hockey took place from January 28th to February 5th, 2012 in Rosario .

Attendees

The participants are the host and the top 5 of the 2011 Women's Champions Trophy . The winner of the Champions Challenge 2011 also takes part. The field was supplemented by two countries (Germany and China), which were determined by the board of the FIH . This means that Germany, which finished last in 2011 and would actually have been relegated, can still take part in 2012 and has continued to participate in all trophies that have been held since 2004.
