British women's national hockey team
The British women's national hockey team only meets for the Olympic Games. In all other tournaments, Wales, Scotland , England and Ireland (including Northern Ireland) play separately.
Olympic games
There has been a women's hockey tournament at the Olympic Games since 1980. Great Britain first participated in 1988.
