history

The municipality of Dellwig-Holte was an independent municipality until it was incorporated into Lütgendortmund, which came into effect on April 1, 1907. On April 1, 1928, Lütgendortmund was incorporated into Dortmund.

There is no verifiable information about the expansion of the church at that time. There is evidence that it consisted of two parts. On the one hand, these were the surroundings of the Dellwig family and , on the other hand, those of the Holte family . There are some indications that the Holte part was already incorporated into the municipality of Lütgendortmund. In the municipal boundaries map of 1897 , only the boundaries of Dellwig are given.

Houses Dellwig and Holte

The Dellwig and Holte houses are closely linked to the community. Carl Theodor von Rump zu Crange bought both goods in 1816. Towards the end of the 19th century, the goods came into the possession of the Count von Landsberg-Velen. In 1904, three years before incorporation, Dellwig and Holte were sold to Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG .
