Dolphin dinghy

This company existed until the end of the 1990s at the latest. 288 units had been built by 1968, and in 1977 the shipyard exceeded the number of 2000 units produced. In Switzerland the dinghy was officially tested (type certificate no. 1109 (issued before 1977)) and approved for 3 people. An outboard motor with up to 6 HP can be attached to the motor mount. As an option, oarlocks for oar forks can be embedded in the side decks. With the oars, which can be stowed in the cockpit , and the bench, which is placed on the side sword boxes, the dinghy can be rowed easily. In addition to the fore and mainsail in the two sizes shown, there is a spinnaker . When straightening up after capsizing , almost all of the water flows off to the side.

The Delphin dinghy is a knickspant dinghy made of plywood. The outside of the fuselage is coated in white with glass fiber reinforced polyester. Air tanks with 240 kg buoyancy are installed on the side. The adjustable in their draft Kimmschwerter and Senkruder are made of aluminum alloy. The interior, storage space and deck are painted in natural mahogany. The one or two-part mast and the boom are made of gold anodized aluminum. The mast is filled with expanded polystyrene and is therefore buoyant. The mainsail can be rolled up onto the tree for reefing.
