The Demirkazık Dağı is the highest mountain in the Aladağlar ( Taurus Mountains ) in southern Turkey .

The Demirkazık Dağı has a height of 3756  m . It is located in Çamardı County, Niğde Province . The mountain is located within the Aladağlar National Park . Mountaineering accidents regularly occur on Demirkazık Dağı. In mid-2012 the total number of fatal climbers in the last 56 years was 18. The newspaper Günaydın Adana of June 6th of that year called Demirkazık the “death mountain” and named the dead.
