Demissie Wolde
Demissie Wolde (born March 8, 1937 ) is a former Ethiopian marathon runner .
In 1964 he was tenth at the Olympic Games in Tokyo . In 1968 he came 13th in the Fukuoka Marathon , and in 1969 he won the Košice Marathon with his personal best of 2:15:37 h. At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he came in 18th place.
His older brother Mamo Wolde became Olympic marathon champion in 1968.
