The Demitrie River is a short river on the northern tip of Dominica . It rises on the north flank of Bellevue Mountain and flows northeast, past Penville in Parish Saint Andrew and, after a steep descent north of the settlement and the Pointe Jaco in Agoucha Bay near La Haut, flows into the Caribbean Sea . On its way it takes up a few short tributaries from Bellevue Mountain and directly to the west is the catchment area of the Delaford River .
