Denis Bindnagel (born June 5, 1979 in Ellwangen ) is a German soccer player . The all-rounder has been under contract with SpVgg Neckarelz since July 2010 .

Career

Bindnagel played in his youth at TSV Billigheim and in 1998 moved to the upper division SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim . There the 19-year-old prevailed in his first season and became one of the top performers of his club in the second season, when he played in all 30 games of the season and scored ten goals. In the summer of 2000 he switched to the amateurs of SC Freiburg and remained in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg for another year . After the season, Bindnagel moved to regional league promoted TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where he made 151 regional league appearances in five years. From the 2003/04 season onwards, the versatile player was part of the undisputed permanent staff and finally made it to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2006/07 season . Against the numerous reinforcements that the club made before the 2007/08 season, Bindnagel could not prevail. He had ten second division appearances for Hoffenheim and moved to SV Sandhausen in the 3rd soccer league on July 1, 2008 .

After two years in Sandhausen, Bindnagel moved in July 2010 to the Oberliga promoted SpVgg Neckarelz in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. With the club he rose in the 2012/13 season as a champion in the Regionalliga Südwest .
