Career

The striker began his career at the club Mogi Mirim EC , where he was under contract for three years, including during the 2001 World Cup. Two years later, he moved to the Saudi Arabian club al Salmiya Club . The club wanted to buy the player, but Denis preferred the Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense , which bought him for about $ 700,000.
